Meatball Pizza

Made a big batch of meatballs but don’t know what to eat them with? This Meatball Pizza recipe is easy to throw together on a weeknight and is a fun switch from a typical pepperoni or sausage pizza.


Use our Low Carb Meatballs recipe and prep the meatballs in advance!


Makes one pizza


INGREDIENTS:

• 1 Italian Pizza Crust

• 3 tbsp pizza sauce

• 2 oz shredded mozzarella

• 1 meatball, broken into pieces (grab our Low Carb Meatballs recipe here!)

• 1 tbsp shallot, diced

• Fresh basil leaves


OVEN PREPARATION:

1. Preheat the oven to 425º

2. If you want a crispier crust, while the oven is preheating, place the Pizza Crust with no toppings in for 5 minutes

3. Remove from the oven, and top with pizza sauce, mozzarella, meatball pieces, & shallot

4. Put back in the oven and bake for 10 minutes at 425º

5. Top with fresh basil & enjoy!


AIR FRYER PREPARATION:

1. Pre-bake the Pizza Crust with no toppings for 4 minutes at 350º

2. Remove from the air fryer, and top with pizza sauce, mozzarella, meatball pieces, & shallot

3. Top with both cheeses & sausage

4. Put back in the air fryer and bake for 5 minutes at 350º

5. Top with fresh basil & enjoy!
