Low Carb Lasagna

Who says pizza crusts can only make pizza?

Last week, we experimented with our Italian Pizza Crusts and made this delicious lasagna with:

  • Meat Sauce
  • Spinach
  • Mozzarella, and ricotta cheese.

This low carb lasagna recipe takes about 40 minutes to cook, and makes a nutritious lunch and dinner. 

Ingredients: 

  • 2 lbs of meat (we used 1 lb ground lean turkey & 1 lb hot Italian turkey sausage)
  • 4 Outer Aisle Italian Pizza Crusts
  • 1 large container of ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 1 bag of shredded mozzarella (2 cups)
  • 1 bottle of pasta sauce (we like the Ragù with no sugar)
  • 1 bunch/bag of fresh spinach
  • Parmesan cheese

Cooking Directions:

1. Cook meat until browned and cooked
2. Add pasta sauce to the meat and heat thoroughly
3. Assemble lasagna in the following order:

  • 1/3 of the meat sauce
  • 2 Outer Aisle Italian Pizza Crusts
  • Spinach (really cooks down, don’t be shy, its healthy!)
  • 1/2 of the cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 of the mozzarella
  • 1/3 of the meat sauce
  • 2 Outer Aisle Italian Pizza Crusts
  • 1/2 of the cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 of the mozzarella
  • 1/3 of the meat sauce
  • Top with parmesan cheese

4. Heat oven to 350 and bake for 40 minutes until sides are bubbly

  • Any chance u can make lasagna squares instead of pizza round. So I can make 1/2 tray for freezer. This food is amazing not just to be healthy but I am diabetic and no bread no pasta. Veggies and turkey with outer aisles
    I cook a lot and making instead of round. It’s great for pizza but need layers to make a little bigger and etc.
