Carbslayer Keto Quesadilla

Try the Carbslayer Quesadilla recipe using our delicious, low carb Pizza Crusts. (Just promise us that you’ll go overboard with the cheese.)
Ingredients:
- Your favorite flavor of Pizza Crusts or Sandwich Rounds
- ½ cup cheddar cheese
- 1 small skirt steak (or choice protein)
- 1/4 cup black beans
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. cayenne
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 jalapeño, sliced
- ½ medium tomato, chopped
Prepping your steak & veggies:
- Combine cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne in mixing bowl and rub both sides of steak generously with spice mix
- Let sit for 30 minutes at room temperature
- Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high before adding steak
- Cook for 3-5 minutes on each side, depending on your steak doneness preference
- Transfer to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing
- Cook onion and bell peppers on medium-high heat with olive oil, salt, pepper, & cumin for 5 minutes. Set aside and mix in a bowl with the beans, tomatoes, and jalapeño.
Quesadilla time:
- Place lightly oiled skillet on medium heat
- Place one Pizza Crust or Sandwich Round on skillet
- Sprinkle on half of the cheese
- Add steak, cooked vegetables, jalapeño, and tomatoes
- Top with the rest of the cheese and your second crust
- Cook for about 3 minutes on each side, or until cheese melts
Pair with fresh lime, your favorite hot sauce, and sliced avocado for the perfect keto celebration meal.
