Outer Aisle Gourmet Cauliflower Sandwich Rounds

Net Carbs per slice: 1 gram

These are probably the most unique option out there — and perhaps the healthiest. Instead of adding tons of fiber from grains, these are made primarily from cage-free eggs, cauliflower, and parmesan cheese! Naturally gluten-free, too! Because they don’t contain all that forced fiber, they’ll likely have little to no effect on your blood sugar compared to these other products. They don’t look like your usual sandwich bread, so that’s their biggest flaw…but one you might easily overlook after taking a bite

Product Review: Outer Aisle Gourmet Cauliflower Sandwich Rounds

Outer Aisle Gourmet Cauliflower Sandwich Rounds transcend sandwiches — use them as hamburger buns or to make tacos or tostadas, too. And don’t fear in regards to the carbs: every sandwich skinny incorporates simply 2 grams of carbohydrate. Compare that to a slice of standard bread, which has, on common, 15 grams of carb. Plus, they’re naturally gluten-free, low-calorie and low in sodium, and are nut- and soy-free, as nicely. An added bonus: every sandwich skinny offers you with two servings of greens! You can freeze Outer Aisle Gourmet Cauliflower Sandwich Rounds for as much as six months, so you’ll be able to at all times have a stash available, particularly whenever you get a yearning for bread. Say goodbye to carbs and guilt, and say hey to Outer Aisle Gourmet Cauliflower Sandwich Rounds!

If you are looking for a low-carb, quick, and easy meal to have on hand, look no further. When I came across Outer Aisle Gourmet’s cauliflower pizza crust on social media, I reached out immediately. There is plenty you can do with these crusts; the healthy options are endless!

Who are they?

Outer Aisle Gourmet’s founder, Jeanne David was an ordinary mom trying to embrace a healthy lifestyle for her and her family. She wanted to eliminate sugar and processed carbs and eat more vegetables. She started experimenting, and that is how Outer Aisle Gourmet was born.

What is it made with?

These delicious pizza crusts are made out of fresh vegetables. This means they are nutrient dense and low in calories. They also contain Parmesan cheese, eggs, and nutritional yeast. They are low-carb, low-fat, gluten-free, and nut-free. With only 4 carbs per serving, this is something I would love to keep on hand. And 10 grams of protein is a nice added bonus!

Where can I buy it?

You can buy Outer Aisle Gourmet products off their website; they seem to run promotions often so be sure to follow them on social media. Also, Whole Foods is now carrying their products. You can also use their store locator to find other local grocery stores.

How much does it cost?

Each package contains two pizza crusts. They are fairly small (think a little smaller than a personal pizza) but after you put on all your favorite toppings, they are still quite filling! They cost $6.99 per package which seems a little pricey. But if you actually went to a pizza place and bought two slices, you would likely spend more. You can also freeze them so they will not go to waste. And most importantly, this is healthy and will not spike your blood sugars.

In conclusion

I have searched far and wide for pizza products that I can keep in my freezer and have for a last-minute meal. This is the first cauliflower pizza I’ve enjoyed. The flavor is rich without being overbearing, and it is thin without being soggy. I convinced my picky son to try it, and now it is his favorite late afternoon snack. The other night he hated what I made for dinner and begged for “those healthy pizzas you made.” He still has no idea what they are made of, but being that he’s such a fan, my lips are staying sealed.
