Last Friday, we were invited over to a friend’s house for dinner and we decided to make it a pizza night! Since our friend had all the toppings ready, we brought the Outer Aisle Veggie Pizza Crusts and we were excited to eat some tasty pizza we could feel great about! We had so much fun creating the pizzas – our time together was just wonderful and we wanted to share! Below is our favorite; I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
2 OAG Veggie Pizza Crusts
1 slice applewood smoked ham (we used Trader Joe’s)
1/2 cup shredded cheese (we used goat gouda from Trader Joe’s)
1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunks (small chunks)
1 container bruschetta (Trader Joe’s)
1. Preheat oven to 400.
2. Drain the excess liquid from the bruschetta and Make the pizza sauce by blending the bruschetta in a bullet (use food processor or blender). It makes a really delicious orange sauce.
3. Spread the sauce over the pizza crust and then top with cheese, ham and pineapple chunks. Bake in the oven for5-8 minutes.
Tip: The best pizza pan to use with the Outer Aisle crusts is one with holes in it because it helps to crisp up the crust.
